From Export Area Manager to CMC*

After graduating in Political Sciences, I worked as Export Area Manager EMEA for Nocchi Pompe Spa, the Italian branch of  Starite-Pentair multinational company specialized in hydraulic pumps. My responsability was related to follow the sales of the B2B distributors, sole agents & customers. In that period for my distributors and customers I became the ” Dr. Giovanni Gori “, as it was wrote in my first business card,  so a “one man brand”.  After two years, when competences of sales were achieving by the prove of the good sales results,  I moved in Milan to Grundfos Srl, the Italian branch of Grundfos AS, which still was a multinational company in the same market field. In Grundfos I worked as Product Marketing Manager for the intercompany matrix organization called SEREG (South Europe Region ). Sereg was the coordination structure of the 8 Grundfos National companies in the South of Europe and Middle East that had the responsability to adapt the Grundfos international products to the needs of the 8 local national markets. In 2003 I went back to Tuscany as local sales manager for the Public Water-Utility Companies division.  During this period of 3 years in Grundfos I achieved my competences in Strategy ( Vision, Mission, Company Values, Brand, Storytelling ) ; Marketing ( Strategic, Direct, Operative – later Social ) ; Product Management and  direct skills on the following business segments/product-areas : Pumps, HVAC, Renewable Energy, Air-Conditioning, Swimming Pools, Water Treatment, Dosing. In 2004, I held the position of back-office sales in Abv srl ( today ABV-Velan), a company of Oil & Gas Valves and Actuators. From 2005 I worked as Executive Assistant & Business Development Manager at Imballcenter Srl, a company specialized in food/not food flexible packaging. In 2006, mainly still continuing to work for Imballcenter Srl, I started working as Management Consultant. Since then, I have been working as the Development Consultant/ T.E.M. of foreign trade networks making a real INTERNATIONALIZATION and not just an Export-Sales. I also further implement my experiences in Strategy , Marketing and Logistics Services in order to provide an Excellent INTERNATIONALIZATION for SMEs. More and more with the working years in the consultancy, I felt the need NOT to be a “One Man Orchestra”. Due to this reason I developed the MAYFOWER NETWORK , I take parts as member to several Italian Consultant associations, and I also started working as for others INTERNATIONALIZATION Consultant Firms.  My detailed CV in English is available on my LINKED-IN page :

After a certain numbers of working years, Today, the ” Dr. Giovanni Gori ” is a CMC* – (Certified Management Consultant). Infact I’m a Qualified Member APCO-CMC N° 2015-0002 working according the law n. 4 January, 14th, 2013 ( APCO – Italian Professional Management Consultant Association  )

I’m also an Export Sales Consultant / T.E.M. of  SELES div. of EVERAP SPA since May, 2014 ; Member FEDERPROFESSIONAL: N° 671  and  Member CDiManager   since January, 2013
